the awful man who has this cell phone pretends to be law enforcement agent and tried to make me think I broke the law in order to shake me down for moeny. he is very good at it and had me very scared for a good 10 minutes before I got wise and hung up and called police. i worry how many others he is preying on out there. He is lower than dog dung on the sidewalk.
Claimed to be International Technologies. That company is out of Illinois but the phone number is from the Hillsboro, ND - Traill County area. Possible prank caller?.?.

This number continues to call my home...EVERY 20 MINUTES. Im going to assume that its a credit/bill collector...however, I have told them and send out a SEIZE AND DESIST LETTER LAST YR. (if its who I think it is) This is called harassment and they go so far to call back...(minutes later) under a fictitious name (multiple names) ...but the same establishment. This has gone on for 2 yrs!!!!! It starts @8am...every 10 minutes....until 7:45 Pm (PT) Im done...please help me to get rid of them....nobody should be harassed on this level whatever the call is about. Times are hard...and economy hit me in particular...and there is no $ to bring restitution ...so they need to go away. One would thing after 6 months...much less 2 yrs...they would get the point!!!

Some sort of scammer responding by email to a m4w ad in the Toronto Craigslist intended to find a female canoeist for an Algonquin park trip. Said she was studying international relations in Florida but was up in Canada for some reason. Switched nonsensical gmail addresses, couldnt write grammatically or punctuate, said she wasnt used to being online (some Masters student!) and asked me to start texting her at her phone number (which, it turns out, is in Taos, NM)....Next would have come the requests for financial help!

Person claims to work for Federal Government. Has accent from India. Called about a $7000 federal grant all that was needed was credit card number or bank account number, the man in question already had my name and address information. A 250 to 300 dollar fee on top of the supposed grant. the number that came up on caller ID was 970-002 which referred me to 202-559-4661. when questioned the person got very upset and hung up, Confirming it was a scam! -

Got a call from 407-681-2336 - not recognize the number so I returned the phone call and the person identified herself as Juanita working in Casselberry FL office. Juanita would not tell me why she called but expected me to give her a lot of personal information which I did not. A legitimate bank employee would not do this but the number was from Wells Fargo in Casselberry FL. I told her I have never banked or done any business with Wells Fargo and will never in the future either since the banks reputation is very low on the integrity scale. Credit Unions are the way to go and also be debt free. This is some type of scam from Wells Fargo to try getting personal information or new customers or getting peoples personal information for identity theft scams. God only knows for what when I have never done business with them. BEWARE!!! Do Not Give Out Your Personal Information!!!! Call the number back and ask for a supervisor or bank official and report it. The bank might have an employee in a position that should not be working there scamming unwary people.
